Southwark City Tennis Club an have as many as 12. 

 

Anjum Misbahuddin
Trustee

She has been a member of Southwark City Tennis Club for many years and has competed in the club ladder tournament as well as organising a big lunch and other events for us.  She is a big Roger Federer fan.  

 

Anjum Misbahuddin FRCP PhD is a Consultant Neurologist at the Essex Centre for Neurological Sciences at Queen's Hospital, Romford and has a specialist interest in Parkinson's Disease and other movement disorders. She is currently also the Clinical Lead for Neurology at the centre.  As well as her medical studies she has completed a BA Hons degree in International Studies focusing on international development and environmental issues. In 2018 she became a Trustee of FQMS; a British based charity, founded in 1997, to advance medical education in Palestine.  She is also a mentor with the Madrinha Trust which provides financial and mentor support for promising students in the developing world.

Martin Ebert

Martin is a local Southwark resident and member of the club and was appointed as a Trustee in 2016 and again in 2018.

  

Born and grew up in Berlin. Lived and studied in Stuttgart and Chicago before moving to London in 1999. Works as an architect and professor for architecture in London and Münster, Germany. Married with three children, two of them active players at SCTC. Member at SCTC for the past 6 years.

 

As a trustee I work with the coaches to develop the youth programme and also with Southwark Council to secure a stable long term framework for tennis.
